Description

Ann Arbor, Michigan– On Wednesday, June 5th. HB Advocates will host the Hemp History Week Garden Party to celebrate the 10th annual Hemp History Week, a national grassroots campaign taking place from June 3-9, 2019, which aims to educate people about the many benefits of hemp for our health, economy, and environment.

This year’s campaign theme is Return of the Plant! celebrating the recent legalization of hemp farming in the U.S. This June, we will join together in victory across the country as we embark on a new era of hemp cultivation in American soil.

Michigan’s recent legalization of adult use cannabis places the Great Lakes State at the intersection of hemp’s past and future. We now have the opportunity to restore a versatile, beneficial crop to its rightful place in Michigan’s agricultural and manufacturing economies.

The confluence of adult-use legalization opening a world of experimentation and the recent passage of the Farm Bill’s provision to allow hemp cultivation, is freeing up a new world of innovation. Join us for an intimate evening exploring the origins of hemp’s prohibition and a social hour for networking with some of the state’s leading innovators in the world of hemp.

RSVP to receive address.
